Safer schools. Most schools’ existing cameras and door readers already suffice. Keep the gear, add the Care OS brain (Overlay) — local ops and Care sized to campus. Most schools are under ~$3,000/year for Pioneer Care versus roughly $8–15K+/year for a typical cloud stack; larger campuses are sized up and cost more.
Why Pioneer exists
Schools are where kids spend their days — and too often they’re also a soft target: aging systems, cloud cameras anyone can reach if credentials leak, and buildings that rent safety instead of owning it. Pioneer exists to change that.
Our mission is simple: put serious security in the building, under the school’s control — starting with Overlay on gear campuses already own. Districts save significant money per year versus cloud rent and get a safer local posture. Full rebuild is optional when gear is thin. Deeper emergency command modes come later, when the district is ready.
What Pioneer does
Pioneer delivers Care OS Overlay — keep cams and door readers, add the local brain — with Cases, Find, Review/rewind, AI alerts, student Wi‑Fi kept separate from staff and security, badge/door events into Cases, video that stays on campus, and Care sized to campus. Mac Mini is the Care brain; add disk if you need longer video history. Keep PowerSchool. Plain language with principals, facilities, and IT. Certified partners handle physical craft when needed.
